BookForce — Booking to Cash, Off a Link
A booking-to-cash tool for service businesses — share a link, let clients book, and take the deposit in the same step. A focused spin-off of the FieldForce engine, aimed at anyone who sells their time.
The situation
Plenty of people sell their time — a mobile therapist, a hairstylist, a coach — and lose bookings to the back-and-forth. A client has to message, wait, agree a time, and then there's the awkward dance of securing it with a deposit. No-shows cost real money, and the tools that fix this are mostly built and priced for overseas markets, not a South African sole trader with a Paystack account.
What I built
BookForce takes the booking-to-cash slice of the FieldForce OS and makes it a standalone tool: a shareable booking page per business, a live operator dashboard, and a checkout that collects a deposit the moment a client books — so the slot is secured, not just pencilled in. The deposit layer runs on Paystack with proper server-side transaction handling and signed webhooks, the same payment pattern proven on FieldForce. It's the smallest useful version of 'from built to paid': the gap it closes is literally the one between a booking and the cash.
Highlights

- Takes a deposit at the moment of booking, so slots are actually secured
- Live operator dashboard reading real booking data
- Paystack deposits with server-side handling and signed webhooks
- A focused spin-off of the proven FieldForce payment engine
