Cadence — A Practice Operating System for Therapists
A white-label practice operating system for independent therapists — scheduling, automatic session links, a reminder engine, real reporting, and Sage, an AI assistant that drafts the admin and routes it for approval before anything reaches a client.
The situation
An independent therapist spends a surprising amount of their week not doing therapy: scheduling sessions, sending links, chasing reminders, working out who attended and who didn't, and trying to see whether the practice is actually healthy. The generic tools don't fit the work, and the clinical ones are built for big institutions. A solo or small practice needs the operating system without the enterprise weight — and without an AI that does anything risky on its own.
What I built
Cadence is the same engine behind FieldForce, re-skinned for the therapy world: multi-tenant practices, scheduling with automatic per-session links, a reminder engine, and reporting that actually answers 'how is the practice doing' — attendance, utilisation, no-shows, retention. The AI assistant, Sage, is the twin of FieldForce's operator: it drafts the scheduling, the outreach and the confirmations, but every client-facing action lands in an approval inbox first. Nothing goes out until a human says yes. It's proof that the go-to-market engine isn't one product — it's a pattern that re-points at a new vertical in days, not months.
