FieldForce — the field-service OS that gets installers paid
The field-service operating system for South African installers — quote, job, invoice, paid, off a phone. Built end-to-end by Taigency and taking live Paystack payments in production. Our own proof of 'from built to paid'.
The situation
South Africa's security and CCTV installers run real businesses out of a WhatsApp group. Quotes get typed on a phone between site visits, jobs live in someone's head, and getting paid means chasing a client for an EFT weeks later. The work is excellent; the go-to-market and the back office are held together with tape — so the business stalls the moment the owner's attention runs out. There was nothing built for how these teams actually operate.
What I built
FieldForce replaces the WhatsApp scramble with one system: build a professional quote in minutes, convert it to a scheduled job, invoice, and collect payment — all from a phone. Under the hood it's a multi-tenant platform on Next.js and Supabase, with row-level security isolating every installer's data, an AI assistant (voice and text) that drafts quotes from a plain-language brief and confirms before it commits anything, two-way WhatsApp client communication with delivery receipts, and email billing rails (Resend) that send invoices and chase the overdue ones automatically. The money layer is the whole point. FieldForce runs live subscriptions and online invoice payments through Paystack — with a wallet, platform-fee split, automated receipts and failed-payment dunning — priced for the SA market at R499 / R999 / R2,499. The full chain (checkout → charge → webhook → plan activation) was verified end-to-end in production. This is the 'from built to paid' thesis applied to our own product: not a demo, a working revenue system.
